The latest Issi Noho album (released at 08:09:10 on 11/12/13...honestly!) combines our usual take on 'in the studio with a wheelbarrow full of analogue gadgetry and too much coffee' with tracks developed while playing live as well as a couple of collaborations with musicians from local indie rock band Mazzoni.
A bit more hard edged and grungy (?!) than previous release but retaining focus on rhythmic development, twisted symphonic soundscapes, and subtle ambient/psychedelic motifs.
This is actually a Double CD album - the second, 'bonus CD', being a mix by ex cafe Del Mar resident DJ Obyvate and including his own remix of She's A Gun. Thanks Dean!
As one reviewer wrote (and I quote!) - "settle down with some of the best music around to enjoy as the sun flees to the horizon. Thanks for helping us kickstart the weekend"...which we thought was really rather nice of him :-)
